  1. Odpovědnost vůči čtenáři
    1. Poskytujeme úplné, nezkreslené a pravdivé informace a ve zpravodajském obsahu se snažíme minimalizovat vliv osobních postojů a názorů.
    2. Neposkytujeme PR servis a nepíšeme články na objednávku, odmítáme publikovat skrytou reklamu.
    3. Poskytujeme prostor všem zainteresovaným stranám, o kterých článek pojednává (nebo alespoň zajistíme, že tyto strany prostor získají, byť nevyužijí) a ctíme pravidla správných citací zdrojů.
    4. Vystříháme se všech forem diskriminace.
    5. Ctíme presumpci neviny.
    6. Každá uveřejněná informace, která se ukáže jako nepřesná, musí být neprodleně opravena.
    7. Vydavatel respektuje zásadu, že do redakčního obsahu médií se nesmí promítat jeho obchodní zájmy.
  2. Obecné zacházení s informacemi
    1. Informace ověřujeme pokud možno u dvou na sobě nezávislých zdrojů.
    2. Článek je publicistický útvar a jako takový může obsahovat osobní názory a vyjadřovat individuální postoj autora, ten však musí být vždy zřetelně odlišitelný od objektivních informací.
    3. Vědomé zkreslování informací je zakázáno.
    4. Nepoužíváme nepoctivých prostředků k získání informací. Nepoctivost prostředků je zároveň nutné posuzovat s veřejným zájmem na publikování těchto informací.
  3. Zdrojování a citace
    1. Nepublikujeme informaci na základě jednoho zdroje, pokud by jakkoliv mohla poškodit jinou stranu či subjekt, nebo pokud by se jejím prostřednictvím naše médium mohlo stát nástrojem manipulace tohoto zdroje.
    2. Respektujeme právo zdroje na utajení i v případě, že nám z tohoto důvodu hrozí právní či jiné potíže.
    3. Žádný člen redakce ani spolupracovník se nesmí dopustit plagiátorství. Při reprodukci jakéhokoli typu obsahu (text, fotografie, video) musí být uveden jeho autor formou adekvátní k rozsahu převzatého materiálu.
  4. Reklama a PR
    1. Každá informace komerční či inzertní povahy musí být zřetelně odlišena a oddělena od redakční části obsahu. Respektujeme příslušnou legislativu a chráníme dobré jméno našeho média a jeho nezávislost na druhých a třetích stranách.
    2. Člen redakce ani spolupracovník nesmí publikovat článek o organizaci či službě, v níž je sám komerčně zainteresován. Výjimkou jsou případy, kdy je jasně deklarovaný kontext vztahu autora a předmětu článku. Takový text však musí splňovat náročnější kritéria ohledně nestrannosti a objektivity a při jeho redakčním zpracování se k němu bude přistupovat přísněji. Případný konflikt zájmů musí vždy u daného tématu autor předem nahlásit šéfredaktorovi.
    3. Člen redakce ani spolupracovník nesjednává médiu inzerci, ani neslibuje článek výměnou za inzerci.
    4. Člen redakce nepřijímá peněžité ani nepeněžité plnění od subjektů, jejichž zájmem je ovlivnit obsah média ve svůj prospěch. Výjimkou jsou věcné dary, související s výkonem práce redaktora a nepřesahující symbolickou hodnotu.
  5. Kontakt se třetí stranou
    1. Při pracovním kontaktu se třetí stranou se člen redakce ujistí, že je druhé straně znám jeho novinářský status. Výjimkou může být práce v rámci investigativní žurnalistiky, o takovém kontaktu však musí být informován šéfredaktor.
    2. Respektujeme soukromí třetích stran a v citlivých případech vždy zvážíme nutnost použití informací, které by mohly ohrozit soukromí či bezpečnost osob mimo redakci.
